01 · The workshop
Shape by hand, then paint your pieces
Try three handbuilding techniques: pinching, slab building and coiling. Your instructor demonstrates first, then helps you practise the shapes you want to make. There is no limit on the number of pieces you make within the workshop time.
Session 01 · With an instructor · 02 hours
Get to know the clay and shape it
Pinching
Press your thumb into a ball of clay, then pinch and open the walls to form a bowl or a small pot.
Slab building
Roll clay into flat sheets, cut and join them to build a shape, such as a cup.
Coiling
Roll clay into long coils, join them in layers and adjust the walls to create your shape.
Session 02 · Independent painting · No time limit
Return when your pieces are dry enough
Clay needs around 2–3 days to dry before painting. Vietclay provides colours and painting tools for you to decorate your pieces. This session is included in the workshop fee, with no additional participation charge.
After painting
Vietclay applies a clear glaze and fires your pieces over approximately 2–3 weeks. We will let you know when they are ready to collect at the studio or arrange a courier.

Book the shaping session
The workshop schedule lists morning sessions, 09:00–11:00, and afternoon sessions, 15:00–17:00, Monday to Sunday. Please book ahead; the calendar below shows dates and times currently available to reserve.
The painting session is arranged separately once your pieces are dry enough. The calendar below is for the guided shaping session only.
Vietclay is preparing a new studio. The new location will be updated when officially available.
Rescheduling and cancellation
Vietclay does not offer booking cancellations or tuition refunds. Please give at least 2 days’ notice to change your date or time slot.

From choosing a date to a confirmed booking

Select an available session below, check the number of people and total fee, then add it to your cart.

Enter your details and transfer payment
Continue to checkout, enter your contact details and create the order. Transfer the amount using the payment reference shown in your order’s payment instructions.

Receive your booking confirmation
Your booking is confirmed after payment is recorded. Adding a session to your cart is not a confirmed reservation.
